Online meeting of potential applicants for”LIFE”

On March 7-8, an online meeting of potential applicants with leading experts of the European program “LIFE” on climate and environment took place, which was also attended by representatives of the company “Center LTD”.

Recall that in 2022 Ukraine joined the European program “LIFE”. Participation in the program opens up new opportunities for Ukraine to obtain additional financial resources, technical and expert support in overcoming threats and challenges caused by russian military aggression and climatic conditions, because “LIFE” is a powerful financial instrument of the participating countries. The program is designed for 2021-2027 with a total budget of 5.4 billion euros.

The objective of the Program is to restore and improve the quality of environmental components, including air, water and soil, as well as to preserve biodiversity and reverse the degradation of natural ecosystems.

The directions of the Program are ecological (protection of nature and biodiversity, circular economy and quality of life) and climate (prevention and adaptation to climate change, transition to alternative energy sources). Grant assistance is provided on the basis of co-financing (from 60% to 95% depending on the type of project), on a competitive basis in total from 0.7 to 20 million euros. Duration of the projects is from 3 to 10 years. Project application can be submitted by one applicant or a consortium of participants.

The company has practical experience in preparing of applications, project documentation and project implementation, its own measuring laboratory, which enables it to be an effective project participants. To date, the Company is already registered on the platform LIFE Program and in the Consortium with partners in 2022 it prepared and submitted two statements which are evaluated by the competition commission.
