Certification of workplaces

Workplace certification is a comprehensive assessment of all factors in the production environment and the labor process.

Attestation of workplaces under working conditions is carried out at enterprises and organizations where the technological process, used equipment, raw materials and materials are potential sources of harmful and dangerous production factors that can adversely affect the health of workers.

The purpose of attestation is to regulate the relationship between the owner  and the employees in the field of realization of the rights to healthy and safe working conditions, preferential pension provisions, privileges, and compensation for work in unfavorable conditions. The certification of workplaces is carried out in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 442 dated August 1, 1992, and the Methodological Recommendations for the Certification of Workplaces under Conditions of Employment No. 41 of September 1, 1992.

The attestation is carried out by the attestation commission, the composition and powers of which are determined by an order on the enterprise, organization in the terms provided by the collective agreement, but at least once every 5 years. Responsibility for timely and qualitative certification is the responsibility of the head of the enterprise, organization.

During the certification of workplaces our specialists provide:

    • assistance in completing an order for certification of workplaces;
    • identification and design of the list of jobs to be attested;
    • sanitary-hygienic research of the factors of the production environment, the severity and intensity of the labor process in the workplace;
    • mapping of working conditions;
    • a comprehensive assessment of the factors of the production environment and the nature of labor on the responsibility of their characteristics to the standards of safety, construction, and sanitary norms and rules;
    • establishment of the degree of harmfulness and danger of labor and its nature by hygienic classification;
    • calculation of surcharges to tariff rates and the duration of additional leave for work in harmful conditions;
    • definition and drawing up of lists of employees, who are offered a privileged pension for work in unfavorable conditions.
