26.01.2024On January 18, a meeting of leaders “Green Transformation: Reunion” took place in Kyiv – an international event that brings together leaders of communities, businesses, professional communities and the international community to share experiences and accelerate the transformational changes that have begun.
The event is organized by PAEW Professional Association of Environmentalists of the World.
More than 100 environmental experts took part in the event offline and more than 300 online, including Virginijus Sinkevičius, EU Commissioner for the Environment, Oceans and Fisheries, Leonore GEWESSLER, Federal Minister for Climate Protection Arad BENKÖ, Ambassador of Austria to Ukraine; Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology Austria, Kristina HAVERKAMP, Managing Director of Deutsche Energie-Agentur; Reter VAN DE VELDE, Ambassador of Belgium to Ukraine; Jennes DE MOL, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Ukraine, Nadiya Bihun, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Olena Kryvoruchkina, People’s Deputy of Ukraine, Hanna Zamazeyeva, Head of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine and Dmytro Zaruba, First Deputy Head of the State Energy Inspectiorate.
Group of experts of the Company ”Center LTD”, represented by director Oleg Botha and project manager Julia Shmid, also joined the event and together with the head of waste management of the Lviv City Council, Petro Kinash, presented a project to study the morphological composition of household waste in the city of Lviv, which won the “Green Heart” award.
