On September 7, 2023, in the city of Novyj Rozdil, the “Center LTD” company together with the
\n“ECO Cluster” Association, Charity the “International Fund for Health and Environmental
\nProtection “Carpathian Region” as part of the project “Protection of Internally Displaced Persons in
\nTranscarpathia, Chernivtsi, Lviv” and Ivano-Frankivsk regions”organized the third training on how
\nto properly sort waste.<\/p>\n

Oleg Bota, director of Center LTD, said this<\/p>\n

“For the third time, we continue to draw attention to the issues of forming a high ecological culture
\nof waste management. From an early age, the growing generation should be aware of their
\nresponsibility for careful and rational treatment of natural resources, their effective use and
\nenvironmental protection,” Oleg Bota says.<\/p>\n

During the event, the participants were told about the importance of waste sorting, got acquainted to
\ncontainers for separate sorting and convinced of the importance of following the rules of sorting,
\nbecause it will help preserve the environment and support the economy of our state. The participants
\nwere also shown practical examples of how to make tiles from worn tires and buses, which can be
\nused in the economy of towns and villages, or how to make soap dishes and bathroom dispensers
\nfrom sorted glass. The youngest participants received a book from the series “Lifeguard stickers, we
\ncare about the environment.”<\/p>\n

“Our goal is to encouraging society, starting with its youngest members, to ensure that waste does
\nnot end up in landfills and incinerators, but has a life cycle similar to the reuse of resources in
\nnature,” says the executive director of the ECO Cluster Association. Olena Vitrak.<\/p>\n
