It launches a waste management reform and establishes new rules for local governments to manage household waste in communities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Local waste management plan (WMP)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It is a policy document containing a set of interrelated tasks and measures aimed at ensuring sustainable waste management in the community.<\/li>\n<li>The local waste management plan is designed by the developer in accordance with paragraph 1 of the second part of Article 26 of the Law of Ukraine &#8220;On Waste Management&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>The WMP is developed for a 10-year period and to be reviewed at least every four years from the date of entry into force.<\/li>\n<li>The WMP is updated within six months from the date of amendment of the regional waste management plan.<\/li>\n<li>The developed WMP project is approved by the regional state administration.<\/li>\n<li>This document is binding on all territorial communities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Center LTD specialists will help you develop local waste management plans.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Law of Ukraine &#8220;On Waste Management&#8221; On July 9, 2023, the norms of the Law of Ukraine &#8220;On Waste Management&#8221; entered into force.
