According to current regulations, excessive noise is considered pollution. Therefore, it is subject to restriction, like other environmental pollutants, and its standards are strictly defined.<\/p>\n

The problem of noise exposure is one of the most pressing environmental problems of our time, as it grows more and more over time. Almost any human or technical activity is accompanied by the emission of noise. Therefore, people are exposed to noise in the process of industrial activity and in everyday life.<\/p>\n

Noise <\/strong>is a chaotic collection of sounds of different frequency and intensity of different strength and frequency, arising as a result of the oscillating movement of particles in elastic media (solid, liquid, gaseous) as a result of the action of natural and technical factors.<\/p>\n

Noise pollution<\/strong> is the impact of various sounds on a person. The intensity of noise pollution (pressure) is measured in decibels (dB). Noises with an intensity of 30-80<\/strong> dB do not harm the human body. At the same time, noises with an intensity of 85 dB<\/strong> or more lead to physiological and psychological negative effects on the nervous system, sleep, emotions, and work capacity. \"\"We can deal with different types of noise:<\/p>\n

Transport noise<\/strong> \u2013 it is created by railway, car, tram or air transport.<\/p>\n

Industrial noise<\/strong> \u2013 its source is the operation of industrial equipment, the operation of technological installations, fans, air conditioners or the movement of vehicles moving within the project area. It is formed, for example, at industrial and manufacturing enterprises (such as thermal power plants, sewage treatment plants, oil refineries, metallurgical plants, waste landfills), supermarkets (air conditioners and ventilation devices), gas stations, poultry farms.<\/p>\n

Noise in buildings –<\/strong> occurs in residential premises. Its source can be, for example, ventilation systems, elevators, transformers, water supply systems, boiler rooms and other technical equipment of buildings, roads and communications, industrial enterprises, public places.<\/p>\n

What are noise measurements for?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"Noise measurement is an accurate test of the noise level in a specific environment. In addition to monitoring the generated sounds, noise measurements also allow the identification of sources of excessive noise. This allows you to eliminate or reduce them to the level allowed by legal standards and ensure the best acoustic conditions.<\/p>\n

The Company \u201cCenter LTD\u201d laboratory is accredited in accordance with the requirements of the European standard DSTU ISO\/IEC 17025:2019, uses software products for forecasting noise levels, acoustic load around industrial enterprises based on theoretical or empirical data, and uses Ukrainian DSTU-N B V.1.1 in its work -35:2013, DSTU-NB V.1.1-34:2013, DSTU-NB V.1.1-33:2013 and modern European standards, in particular the ISO 9613 standard, which defines an analytical method for calculating sound attenuation as a result of atmospheric absorption for various meteorological conditions when sound from any source propagates through the atmosphere outside the premises.<\/p>\n
