It obliges the Member State to take measures within a specified period to achieve the objectives set out therein.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of Directives (such as Directive 2006\/11 \/ EC of 15 February 2006 on pollution caused by certain dangerous substances discharged into the aquatic environment of the Community) and Directive 96\/61 \/ EC of 24 September 1996 on comprehensive prevention and pollution control &#8220;, which are developed in accordance with the Water Code of Ukraine and the Law of Ukraine&#8221; On Environmental Protection &#8220;) there is the achievement of comprehensive prevention and control of pollution caused by certain activities. They provide for mechanisms in place to prevent or, where this is not possible, to reduce emissions into the atmosphere, water and soil from the effects of certain undertakings, including waste control mechanisms to achieve a high level of protection of the environment as a whole without prejudice to the Directive. 85\/337 \/ EC and other relevant Community provisions.<\/p>\n<p>These Directives apply to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>continental surface waters;<\/li>\n<li>territorial sea;<\/li>\n<li>inland sea waters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Lists of harmful substances are attached to Directive 2006\/11 \/ EC of 15 February 2006. List I includes certain substances belonging to certain families and groups of substances selected mainly on the basis of toxicity, stability and bioaccumulation, with the exception of biologically harmless substances or substances that are rapidly converted into biologically safe substances:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>organohalogen compounds and substances capable of forming such compounds in an aqueous medium;<\/li>\n<li>organophosphorus compounds;<\/li>\n<li>organoid compounds;<\/li>\n<li>substances that have been shown to have carcinogenic content in or through the aquatic environment;<\/li>\n<li>mercury and its compounds;<\/li>\n<li>cadmium and its compounds;<\/li>\n<li>stable oil products and hydrocarbons of oil origin;<\/li>\n<li>stable synthetic substances which are able to remain on the surface of the water, remain in<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>suspension or immerse, and which can interfere with any aqueous use.<\/p>\n<p>List II includes:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Metalloids and metals, as well as their combinations: zinc, selenium, tin, vanadium, copper, arsenic, barium, cobalt, nickel, antimony, beryllium, thallium, chromium, molybdenum, boron, tellurium, lead, titanium, uranium, silver .<\/li>\n<li>Dioxides and their derivatives not listed in List I.<\/li>\n<li>Substances which have a detrimental effect on the taste and \/ or odor of products derived from the aquatic environment and intended for human consumption, and compounds capable of causing the appearance of such substances in water.<\/li>\n<li>Toxic or persistent organic compounds of silicon and substances capable of producing such compounds in water, with the exception of those that are biologically harmless or rapidly converted to safe substances in the aquatic environment.<\/li>\n<li>Inorganic phosphorus compounds and elemental phosphorus.<\/li>\n<li>Unstable petroleum products and hydrocarbons of petroleum origin.<\/li>\n<li>Cyanides, florides.<\/li>\n<li>Substances that have a detrimental effect on the hydrogen balance, especially: ammonium, nitrites.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Our specialists often take part in international conferences and refresher courses abroad, so they are well acquainted with EU legislation.<\/p>\n<p>For our clients we provide advice on the best world practices in BAT technologies (Best available technology) and innovations in European le<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A directive is a type of legislative act of the European Union, which, unlike a regulation or decision, an instrument of direct action, is implemented through<span class=\"excerpt-hellip\"> [\u2026]<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/center-ltd.com.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/4389"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/center-ltd.com.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/center-ltd.com.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/center-ltd.com.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/center-ltd.com.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=4389"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/center-ltd.com.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/4389\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":4391,"href":"https:\/\/center-ltd.com.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/4389\/revisions\/4391"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/center-ltd.com.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=4389"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
