The passport is drawn up in accordance with NRBU-97 (Radiation Safety Standards of Ukraine ) and the requirements of the State sanitary norms and rules, in particular &#8220;Hygienic requirements for drinking water intended for human consumption&#8221;. A passport is required for drinking water sources;<\/li>\n<li>Specific activity of <strong>radionuclides 226Ra, (radium), 232Th (thorium), 40K (potassium)<\/strong> in mineral raw materials, rocks, soils, which must be studied in accordance with the requirements of the NRBU-97(Radiation Safety Standards of Ukraine), and the measurement results are recorded in the passport radiation quality;<\/li>\n<li>Exposure dose rates of external gamma radiation are <strong>radiometric measurements<\/strong> that provide a radiometric characteristic of an object. The results of research allow to form maps of radiometric observations, reports with the corresponding conclusions. Such measurements are required for the objectivity of the planned extraction and processing of mineral resources during the environmental impact assessment (EIA) procedure;<\/li>\n<li>Gamma equivalent dose rates plus beta radiation are <strong>dosimetric measurements<\/strong> that provide information about the radiation dose received by workers working at the measurement site;<\/li>\n<li>The surface flux density of beta particles is dosimetric measurements to form conclusions about <strong>radioactive contamination at the enterprise<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>Volumetric activity of 222<strong>Rn (radon) in the air <\/strong>&#8211; these studies are needed to determine the safety of air for human health in industrial premises and construction sites, in accordance with NRBU-97 (Radiation Safety Standards of Ukraine)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>It is extremely important to identify all possible effects of radiation on human health and the environment, to develop measures to reduce and prevent its impact to protect the business entity from possible adverse actions of regulatory authorities, penalties, negative public opinion in the implementation of planned activities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Center Ltd. conducts comprehensive research on radiometry and dosimetry in the following areas of study: rocks, water, ores, minerals, soils, vegetation, mineral fertilizers, sediments.
